Hi again! Today I thought I'd give a summary of the three first books and add one new recommendation. Keep reading to see what One for the Murphy's, Land of Stories, and Island of the Blue Dolphins are all about.
          Okay, One for the Murphy's, this book is set in the place of a girl, Carley. She is sent into foster care temporarily, and hates even the thought of it. Carley can't wait to go home, but will her feelings change as she slowly adjusts to living with the most surprising family; the Murphy's.
         Now, Land of Stories, this series has 4 books currently, and a fifth will come out in July, 2016. Here though, I'm only recommending the first although you're welcome to try the others. The first book is about a twin brother and sister. On their twelfth birth day their grandma gives them a book of fairy tales that might not be what it seems. This series will be a definite favorite if you like a good fractured fairy tale.
         Island of the Blue Dolphins is a great and adventurous book. It's about a native girl, Karana who is left alone on an island. She soon realizes she will not survive if she just sits around, and embarks on a different sort of journey that most young girls don't follow until their older, surviving alone.
         My next  recommendation is a book that is generated towards girls and I find it as a very fun book. Its title is, Revenge of the Flower Girls (by Jennifer Ziegler.
