Oh, yeah.

  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (or the Philosopher's, whatever, by: JK Rowling)
Yes, you knew I would say it, eventually.
The Girl Who Could Fly is an awesome book, about (duh) a girl, Piper McCloud, to be exact, who can fly in the air. Her mom tries to keep it a secret, but, eventually, it is found out (seriously, I have to point out, what kind of a book would have a girl that could fly, but she kept it under wraps and nobody ever found out?), and she is taken, by the mesmerizing Letitia Hellion to a school-boarding-home-type-thing, and meets other kids with cool powers, like Kimber, who can generate electricity, Smitty, who has X-ray vision, or Violet, who can shrink or grow. But, there is also Conrad. Super-genius and Super-mean, it seems like all Conrad is out for is to be the bad guy. So imagine how surprised Piper is, when Conrad turns out to be her only ally. Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight series, said: "It's the oddest/sweetest mix of Little House on the Prairie and X Men. I was smiling the whole time (except the part I cried).... prepare to have your heart warmed"

  • I totally reccomend......... hmm, what good books have I read recently? Whatever, let you know later
