Luv Ya Bunches by Lauren Myracle is a good book about the perilous troubles and amazing joys of fifth grade :) Petite Katie-Rose really wants to become friends with popular Camilla, Muslim girl Yasaman is desperate for any friend and new girl Violet is, well, the new girl. It is a a great book and is actually in a series of three (or perhaps 4). But that's another story.
